Guests
If you are attending a Lincoln Wheelers club ride/challenge ride/reliability ride as a prospective member or as a guest, in addition to reading the guidance above, please could you print out and complete the guest rider form here.
When you arrive at the departure point for the ride, please arrive early, bring with you the completed form and make yourself known to the ride organiser - someone will point you in the right direction.
Guest Forms apply to any rider who is not a member of LWCC.
Club Ride Policy for Children and Young People
Riders under 18 (17 years and under) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who MUST be a member of Lincoln Wheelers Cycling Club (LWCC).
Sunday Rides
Sunday club rides start in March/April.
Rides will normally be 40-50 mile distance with café stop.
Pace will be social with an option for a faster group
Both usually have the option of a café stop.
All start points will be selected from Lindum Construction (North Hykeham) or Yarborough Leisure Centre, with "drive’n’ride" encouraged on occasions to explore new areas. Local rides will start at 09:30 and aim to be back around 13:00

Wednesday Morning Rides
These rides start by the Village Green, near Hykeham Crossroads at 09:30 and finish at a hostelry at around 12:30.
A distance of about 40 miles is covered at an average speed of 14mph.
There is a “banana stop" at 11:00.

Ad hoc Rides
These social rides can start at various locations but often start by the North Hykeham Village Green, near Hykeham Crossroads
Start time and location is determined by the ride organiser
Any experienced club member may lead an Ad hoc ride
The rides are often named Bacon Eater or Cake Eater and have a café stop
The distance is normally between 40 and 55 miles
Pace is determined by the riders
