How to link the Lincoln Wheelers Google Calendar to your Apple iCal Calendar
 
  1. For this process to work, you must have a (free) Google gmail account.
  2. Click on the Google Calendar tab (bottom right) of the Wheelers Calendar. This will take you to either your Google account log on page or directly to your Google calendar if you are already logged on.
  3. You will see that ‘Lincoln Wheelers’ calendar has been added to your Google calendar already by following steps 1 & 2.
  4. Now mouse-over the ‘Lincoln Wheelers’ title in the left column and click on the arrow that appears next to the title; this opens a drop-down menu.
  5. Click on ‘Calendar settings’ on the drop-down menu.
  6. On the line that says ‘Calendar Address’ click on ‘ICAL’
  7. Select and copy the hyperlink that appears.
  8. Now enter the iCal app on your Mac
  9. Click on ‘File’ on the control bar and then on ‘New Calendar Subscription’ in the dropdown menu.
  10. Paste the hyperlink from your clipboard into the box and click ‘Subscribe’
  11. The Lincoln Wheelers calendar will now appear in your list of iCal calendars.  Tick the box next to the title to display the calendar and/or right-mouse click on the title to change its settings if desired.
  12. All done!
